About Mario Lemieux Collectibles
Mario Lemieux is widely regarded as one of the two or three greatest hockey players of all time. Selected first overall in the 1984 NHL Draft, he won the Calder Trophy as Rookie of the Year in 1985, led the Pittsburgh Penguins to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 1991 and 1992, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997 — the same year he retired (before famously returning to the ice in 2000).
